Video Intercoms & Doorbells
See who's there before the door's involved: answer from anywhere, on your phone, with video - and buzz the gate open from the office. Doorbells from $499, wired intercoms from $1,499.

The front door, answered from anywhere
Deliveries, tradies, salespeople, the school friend, the stranger at 9pm - a video intercom turns every one of those into a conversation you control from your phone, whether you're in the kitchen or another country.
And “sorry, I'm not home” becomes something you can say while not home, which is precisely the point.

The right system for your entrance
The consumer hardware is fine; the installation quality is what separates “works brilliantly” from “offline again.”
Why this beats the peephole (and the sprint to the door)
Answer from anywhere – the courier gets instructions, the stranger gets a response, and neither knows the house is empty. Recorded visits – every press and motion event clipped and reviewable, which is also how porch pirates get identified. Remote release – buzz the cleaner through the gate from your desk. Deterrence – a camera at the door reads as “this house pays attention,” which is most of the battle.
And for parents: see the kids arrive home from school, every day, wherever you are.
FAQs
How much does a video intercom cost installed?
Smart doorbells from $499 professionally installed; wired video intercom systems from $1,499 for door/gate stations with remote unlock; apartment systems quoted per building. Fixed price after a quick look at your entrance and cabling.
Video doorbell or wired intercom - which should I get?
Doorbell: standard front doors, fastest install, great app experience. Wired intercom: gates, long driveways, remote unlock requirements, or anywhere Wi-Fi-dependence isn't acceptable. We'll recommend honestly at quote - often the doorbell is genuinely the right answer.
Can I unlock the gate or door from my phone?
With wired intercom systems, yes - integrated with an electric strike, maglock or gate motor. Doorbell-tier products generally can't do this reliably; it's the main upgrade reason.
Will it work on my existing gate?
Almost always - most gate motors and electric locks integrate. Long runs from house to gate are our bread and butter; we'll confirm the cabling or wireless path at quote.
Does it record?
Yes - visitor events are recorded (locally or cloud depending on system), and wired intercoms can feed into your CCTV recorder.
Can it ring more than one phone?
Yes - the whole household or the whole office, simultaneously or in sequence, plus indoor monitors where you want a wall answer point.
